Railway Order for the Goole and Marshland Light Railway confirmed.

1899
Railway Order for the Isle of Axholme Light Railway confirmed.

1900
Marshland to Reedness section opened to goods trains.

1902
IOALR and G&MLR purchased by North Eastern and the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railways
The railways were called the Axholme Joint Railway.

1903
Marshland to Crowle and branch line to Fockerby opened to all trains.

1904
Crowle to Haxey opened to goods trains.

1905
Order for Hatfield Moor branch line confirmed.
Crowle to Haxey opened to all trains.

1909
Hatfield Moor branch line opened to all trains.

1933
Passenger services withdrawn from Goole to Haxey and Fockerby branch line.

1956
Epworth to Haxey section closed.

1962
Epworth to Haxey track taken up.

1963
Hatfield Moor branch line closed.

1965
Marshland to Epworth section closed.

1972
All remaining track taken up.
